Green Circle Salons Unveils Innovative Recovery Program to Help Tackle PPE Waste

After the pandemic settled down a little bit and salons, spas and barbershops started to reopen, the governments of all countries imposed strict guidelines requiring wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) for the personnel and clients as well. Green Circle Salons who are industry sustainability experts managed to develop the PPE Recovery Initiative. Considering that all PPE are disposable items, it’s very important to responsibly recover this waste. Besides, it can and should be given a brand new life!
Among the PPE arsenal are the following equipment:
- masks,
- gloves,
- capes,
- towels
- face shields, etc.
All these items are being used every day by establishments providing personal services. These include hair salons. After the use, all the PPE items become just a
waste that is likely to contaminate the space. Green Circle Salons has developed a unique initiative for salons that care about the environment. It will help to keep the waste properly separated and disposed of.
The PPE Recovery Initiative is a simple and cost-effective solution to a waste problem that becomes more and more acute each day, as the pandemic isn’t going to be over in a week or two. Founder and CEO of Green Circle Salons Shane Price is very proud of this initiative. “I am really happy that at the moment we can support businesses to sort out and safely dispose of up to 95% of their beauty waste.”
The PPE Recovery Initiative was specially created to cover all beauty businesses, including hair and beauty salons, barbershops, manufacturers of beauty goods, beauty distributors, and more. Thanks to PPE recovery now all the workers and consumers of the beauty industry can be sure that they receive their favorite procedures without contaminating the planet.
