It may sound strange but you can damage your hair even in your sleep! That doesn’t sound nice, does it? What can you do in order to protect your hair while sleeping? Keep on reading and find it out!

1. Avoid washing your hair before going to bed if you know that you won't have the time and energy to dry it. Sleeping with wet hair is a disaster that, if done regularly, can become a cause of hair damage and dead hair ends.

2. Use a silk pillowcase that can help you to make your hair smoother. The soft surface of the silk pillowcase helps minimize friction, so in the morning you’ll wake up with soft and shiny hair.

3. Apply a deep recovery hair mask and leave it on your hair for a night. After applying the mask to the hair, put on a shower cap. After that wrap your hair with a towel. Thus, you will keep warm which will enhance the beneficial effect of the mask nutrients. Besides, you can keep your pillow clean this way.
