Is it possible to dry bleached hair with a hair dryer?

Posted by Karina Lavrova on

If you decided to bleach your hair, be ready to provide your locks with gentle and constant care. You’ll need to constantly maintain the beauty of your hair and take care of it!

In the bleaching process, the structure of the hair changes, intermolecular bonds are destroyed. The hair loses not only its color, but also its density: the pigment that determines the natural shade is washed out, so we receive voids in the hair shafts… Don’t forget to apply hair mask after bleach!

Bleached hair is prone to dryness, thus, we don’t recommend using a hair dryer in order not to get heat damaged hair. After hair wash, you should dry the curls with a towel, without rubbing them, and let them dry themselves. If you need to dry your hair super fast, first dry your hair with a towel, then treat it with a special heat-protective spray before using a hair dryer.

If you have bleached hair, don’t use a hairdryer oftener than once a month!

Don’t forget to use Braé Revival Leave-in not just before using a hairdryer but after each hair wash! It has a powerful restorative effect, intensely nourishing and restoring hair where it is most needed. Its innovative formula provides the silkiness of healthy and obedient natural hair, facilitating the process of hair combing!
