Split hair ends: why shouldn’t you keep them at all costs?

Split hair ends are an acute problem for many women. There are even cases when hydration treatment for hair doesn’t help at all! All women would like their hair to look super neat since split hair ends always look messy.
Why do the hair ends split?
Our hair is about 80-90% made of keratin, a translucent protein that is a key building material. Split hair ends are damaged keratin chains of amino acids that cling to each other, damaging the healthy hair structure. Thus, hair can’t grow in length anymore and, as a result, splits. Visually, amino acid chains resemble bead chains that form a tight flexible spiral.
If you feel that your regular beauty care home treatment doesn’t work, cut the dead hair ends off with no regrets! Remember to visit your hairdresser regularly. By cutting off just 1-2 cm every two to three months, you prevent the keratin chains from damaging healthy hair. If your hair doesn’t split, you can cut the ends less often, and periodically do hair care treatments such as anti-frizz treatment.
Split ends are quite a solvable problem, but it takes time and patience. If you aren’t ready to change your hairstyle but want to have beautiful hair, consult a specialist. However, even very effective procedures have a temporary effect. If the cause of the split hair ends lies in internal diseases, you will have to consult the doctor.
